Thank you. First of all, I would like to thank Pam and Alan for inviting me and giving me the opportunity to present some of our data here today.
I just want to remind you that apoptosis is an important process that is involved, as you can see here, in a wide range of pathological conditions. This list is far from complete, but you can see that it includes ischemic diseases, neurological diseases, infertility, cardiovascular diseases and some infectious diseases. Then, of course, we have the other side of the coin, which are diseases where we have inhibition of apoptosis, as in cancer or autoimmune diseases.
